Why I love it: this 4x4 road takes you right below Dead Horse Point away from crowds and tourists that clog up overlooks. This is a great location for couples who want an off-road and mostly secluded adventure without having to hike.

Maybe not if: you don’t want other jeepers passing by. This road is a fairly popular 4x4 road because it isn’t super technical and takes you right into Canyonlands National Park. Also, you do pass through the Potash Mine, so if you don’t want to drive my machinery on your way in, this isn’t the spot for you.
