Kane Creek Rd Adventure Session

Why I love it: dirt roads, high canyon walls and a super secret arch?! What’s not to love. It’s amazing and completely outside of all national parks so it still has a wild feel. Hiking to this arch is short, but somewhat of a technical scramble (very short grade III moves).

Avoid this area: if the thought of hiking in a wedding dress doesn’t sound fun. Also, if you don’t think pulling the moves for the scramble is up your alley. You can see the gulley with the 3rd class moves in the first two photos. Once you’re above this gulley, the trail is easy. In total it is less than .5m — All photos shown here were driven in a 2 wheel drive vehicle, but their friend brought the razor for the photos so the bride wouldn’t mess up her hair. If you choose to go over Hurrah Pass, a 4x4 vehicle is needed.
