Corona Arch

Why I love it: If you’re looking for a hiking adventure on your wedding day, this is it. You could wear backpacks with hiking boots for an “adventure elopement” look, or wear just your dress and sandals. The hike is 1.5m one way and is fairly easy— there is one ladder and one section with a cable hand-line (shown in photos below). Sunrise elopement shown first (softer, more delicate light), sunset elopement shown second (richer, bolder colors) so you can choose your flavor of light ;) . And bonus— Bowtie and Corona arches are right next to each other. Since this arch is outside of the national parks, obtain a permit for a ceremony through the BLM.

Avoid this arch: if you don’t want to hike or if it is mosquito season (July-August) as the trailhead is close to the river. This is a very popular hike on holiday weekends!
